- Preheat your oven to a temperature of 190°C (or 180°C for fan-assisted ovens) or Gas mark 5.
- Remove all packaging from the chicken.
- Calculate the cooking time: Allow approximately 45 minutes of cooking time per kilo of chicken, with an additional 20-30 minutes.
- Place the chicken in a roasting tin.
- To ensure the chicken remains juicy, loosely cover the roasting tin with foil.
- Position the roasting tin with the chicken in the center of the preheated oven.
- Let the chicken cook for the calculated time, ensuring it is fully cooked.
- Approximately 30 minutes before the estimated cooking time ends, carefully remove the foil to allow the chicken to brown and develop a crispy skin.
- Keep a close eye on the chicken during this time to prevent it from overcooking or drying out.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked (you can use a meat thermometer to check if the internal temperature reaches 75°C), remove it from the oven.
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before carving to allow the juices to redistribute.

- Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.
- Poultry is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest part of the flesh is pierced with a thin skewer.
- If they are pink, continue cooking for a few minutes and retest.

- Do not exceed the use by date.
- Freeze on day of purchase and use within 1 month.
