We take quality Halal whole chicken legs (thigh + drumstick), leave the skin on for extra flavour and crispiness, and marinate them in our in-house Peri-Peri blend. The result is juicy, tender chicken with a zesty, mildly spicy kick – perfect for grilling, roasting or baking.
Great for family dinners, BBQs, meal prep or a simple but exciting weeknight tray-bake.
Whole skin-on chicken legs marinated in:
Wheat (gluten) flour (contains calcium, iron, niacin, thiamin), salt, spices, citric acid (E330), flavour enhancer (E621), onion, paprika, lemon flavour, white vinegar, water, sunflower oil.

Preparation
Remove chicken legs from the fridge 30–45 minutes before cooking to come to room temperature.
Preheat your oven, grill or BBQ.
Oven-Roasting
Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / 400°F.
Place the legs on a baking tray or roasting tin (skin side up).
Roast for 35–45 minutes, turning once if you like, until the skin is crisp and the meat is cooked through.
Ensure the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) at the thickest part.
Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Grilling / BBQ
Preheat grill or BBQ to medium–high.
Cook for 30–35 minutes, turning occasionally to avoid burning and to develop a nice char.
Optional: baste with a little oil during cooking to keep them extra juicy.
Check they reach 75°C (165°F) before serving.
Serve hot with:
Charred or roasted vegetables
Herbed couscous, rice or chips
Flatbreads or naan
A cooling yoghurt or mint dip and plenty of lemon wedges

Refrigerate (raw): Keep between -2°C and +4°C and cook by the “use by” date. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
Freeze: Suitable for freezing on the day of purchase. Use within 1 month. Defrost in the fridge overnight before cooking and do not refreeze once thawed.
Cooked leftovers: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat thoroughly before eating.
