For biryani, Tilda golden sella or Laila golden sella is parboiled, so the grains stay separate and firm through the dum. Khanum pure butter ghee, in a 2kg tin, and Plough pure butter ghee, in 1kg, are clarified butter: dairy, with the milk solids removed so it keeps without a fridge and fries at a high heat. Khanum pure vegetable ghee is a plant-oil ghee, dairy free, with a similar texture at a lower price per kilo. Yes. KTC pure sunflower oil comes in 1L, 3L and 5L, KTC rapeseed oil in 1L and 5L, and Natco pomace olive oil in 5L for frying at olive oil flavour. The specialist bottles are smaller: Dabur mustard oil up to 1L for achar and Bengali dishes, KTC groundnut oil, Idhayam sesame oil and Filippo Berio extra virgin olive oil in 250ml and 500ml. A 5L can travels in the same box as the meat.

Pilsbury chakki atta in a 5kg bag is the stone-ground wholewheat flour for everyday roti and chapati, and Pilsbury gold atta is the 1kg pack if you bake less often. TRS gram flour, or besan, in 1kg and 2kg, is for pakora and kadhi, TRS rice flour for dosa batter and crisp coatings, and McDougalls self raising flour for cakes.
