Full-fat is the one for a Thai or a South Indian curry, where it thickens the sauce; the light tin suits a soup or a daal. A tin of coconut milk with diced chicken thigh, a spoon of Tooba ginger and garlic paste and Rajah mild Madras curry powder is a twenty-minute dinner. Coconut cream and creamed coconut are not listed at the moment.

Yes: KTC chickpeas, KTC kala chana and KTC red kidney beans, all 400g tins, cooked and ready to drain. They are the quick route to murgh cholay with a whole chicken cut into 8 and a Shan Murgh Cholay mix, chana chaat, or a chilli with beef mince. The dried versions in 500g to 2kg bags are on the lentils and grains page, and the tins are grouped under vegetables, beans and pulses.
