How the layers work together

Can I choose how my meat is cut?
Yes, every product page carries a cutting selector, so you choose the cut before your order is prepared. Options run from a whole or roast chunk through steaks at thick 400 to 500g, mid, or thin down to 5mm, cubes from 55 to 60g down to 10 to 15g, thick or thin strips, and mince on 4.5, 6, 8 or 9mm machine plates or hand chopped under 5g. Cutting is free: every option in the same weight tier is the same price.

How does halal meat delivery work?
Every Onlinemeatshop order ships by tracked DPD to addresses across the UK. We cut your order on the day it is dispatched, which is the next working day after you order, and DPD delivers it the day after, Tuesday to Saturday. It travels in a Woolcool wool box with ice gel packs that hold 0 to 4C for up to 72 hours, and each cut is vacuum sealed.
How long does the meat keep after it is delivered?
Meat from Onlinemeatshop keeps up to 6 days in the fridge from the day it arrives, or up to 12 months in the freezer if you freeze it on the day of delivery. Each cut is vacuum sealed in a food-grade bag and that seal is freezer safe, so nothing needs rewrapping before it goes in. Thaw overnight in the fridge rather than at room temperature, and cook within a day of thawing.
