Storage Instructions:

• Suitable for home freezing; freeze as soon as possible by the 'use by' date.
• Defrost in the fridge for at least 12 hours before cooking, and once defrosted, use the same day. Do not refreeze.
• Keep refrigerated, and once opened, consume within one day by the 'use by' date.

Cooking Instructions:

Oven:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (Fan 160°C/Gas 4).
2. Remove the mutton from packaging. In a bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper, and toss the mutton cubes in the mixture to coat.
3. In a large pan, heat a small amount of oil and brown the cubes for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally.
4. Transfer to a casserole dish, add vegetables and stock, cover, and bake in the oven for 2 hours or until tender.

Preparation Tip:
For an added depth of flavor, try adding a spoonful of redcurrant jelly to the stock before baking. It will give the dish a slight sweetness that enhances the natural richness of the mutton.
