- Preheat the oven to 200°C (Fan 180°C, Gas Mark 6).
- Remove all packaging and giblets.
- Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting tin, prick the skin, and season as desired.
- Roast for 40 minutes per kg plus an additional 10 minutes.
- Allow the turkey to rest for 10-20 minutes before carving for optimal juiciness.
Safety and Storage:
- Storage: Keep refrigerated between 0°C and +4°C and use by the date indicated.
- Freezing: Suitable for freezing. Freeze soon after purchase and use within one month.
- Thawing: Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and cook within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
- Handling: Store raw poultry separately from cooked foods. Contains bones.
