Storage & Handling

✔ Suitable for Home Freezing: Freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always before the ‘Use By’ date.
✔ Defrosting: Defrost thoroughly for at least 12 hours in the fridge before cooking.
✔ Once defrosted, use on the same day and do not refreeze.
✔ Refrigeration: Keep at 0°C to 4°C.

Cooking Instructions

Oven Cooking (Best for Roasts & Stews)

🔥 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4
⏳ Cooking Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

For Roasting (Legs):
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4).
2️⃣ Rub the leg with salt, pepper, and aromatic herbs (rosemary, garlic, thyme).
3️⃣ Place in a roasting dish with onions, carrots, and stock for extra moisture.
4️⃣ Cover with foil and roast for 2-3 hours, basting occasionally.
5️⃣ Remove foil in the last 30 minutes for a crispy, golden finish.

For Stews (Diced Mix Parts):
1️⃣ Season the diced meat with salt, pepper, and preferred spices.
2️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and brown the cubes for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally.
3️⃣ Transfer to a casserole dish and add vegetables, tomatoes, and stock.
4️⃣ Cover and slow-cook for 2 hours 30 minutes until tender.
