Grilling / BBQ
Preheat grill/BBQ to medium–high.
Thread cubes onto skewers if desired.
Cook for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.
Ensure the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
Oven-Baking
Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / 400°F.
Spread cubes on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until cooked through.
For extra char, switch to grill mode for the last 5 minutes.
Pan-Frying
Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over medium–high heat.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked (75°C / 165°F in the centre).
Serve hot with:
Basmati or pilau rice
Naan, flatbreads or pitta
Fresh salad, grilled veg or chips
Cooling yoghurt, raita or garlic sauce
Great for wraps, rice bowls, loaded fries, or as protein for meal prep.
Raw, marinated: Keep chilled at 0–4°C and use by the “use by” date (ideally within 24–48 hours).
Cooked: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat thoroughly before eating.
Freezing: Can be frozen raw; defrost in the fridge overnight before cooking. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
