Preparation and Usage:

1. Ingredients Needed:

   • 500g basmati rice
   • 500g chicken or mutton, cut into pieces (or vegetables for a vegetarian option)
   • 2-3 tablespoons MDH Hyderabadi Biryani Masala
   • 2-3 tablespoons oil or ghee
   • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
   • 2-3 cups water (adjust as needed)
   • Optional: chopped fresh coriander and mint for garnish

2. Instructions:

   • Heat the oil or ghee in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
   • Add the meat (or vegetables) and cook until browned. Stir in the MDH Hyderabadi Biryani Masala and mix well to coat.
   • Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the meat is cooked through (about 15-20 minutes).
   • In a separate pot, cook the basmati rice in salted water until 70% done, then drain.
   • Layer the partially cooked rice over the meat mixture in the pot, cover, and cook on low heat for another 15-20 minutes until the rice is fully cooked and infused with the spices.
   • Garnish with fresh coriander and mint before serving.
