Cooking Guide & Preparation
Preparation

Remove chicken from the fridge 30–45 minutes before cooking to come to room temperature.

Preheat your oven or grill.
Oven-Roasting

Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / 400°F.

Place the chicken in a roasting pan; add a splash of water or stock for moisture.

Roast for 45–60 minutes, basting once or twice during cooking.

Ensure the internal temperature at the thickest part (breast or thigh) reaches 75°C (165°F).

For extra-crispy, golden skin, switch to grill mode for the last 5–10 minutes.
Grilling / BBQ (Whole or Butterflied/Spatchcocked)

Preheat grill/BBQ to medium heat.

Place chicken breast-side up and cover with a lid or foil tent.

Grill for around 40–50 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.

Check the thickest part reaches 75°C (165°F) before serving.
