Cooking Guide: Whole Dhaniya is best used either toasted to release its natural oils or ground to enhance its flavour in your cooking.

  • For Tempering and Tadka: Lightly toast 1–2 teaspoons of whole coriander seeds in a dry pan until they begin to pop and release a fragrant aroma. Add them to hot oil or ghee for tempering curries, dals, and vegetables.
  • In Curries and Stews: Add 1–2 teaspoons of whole seeds directly to your cooking pot to infuse the dish with its citrusy, warm flavour. Remove the seeds before serving.
