Refrigeration:
Keep refrigerated at 0–4°C.
Use within 3 days of delivery or by the use by date shown on the label (whichever comes first).
Once opened, we recommend using within 24 hours.
Freezing:
Freeze as soon as possible after delivery and always before the use by date.
For best quality, use within 3 months.
Defrost thoroughly in the fridge for at least 12 hours before cooking.
Do not refreeze once defrosted.
1. Classic Korean BBQ Galbi
Mix a marinade with soy sauce, brown sugar or honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, spring onions, and a touch of pear or apple for sweetness.
Marinate the cross-cut short ribs for 4–12 hours (or overnight) in the fridge.
Preheat grill or BBQ to high heat.
Grill for 2–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until nicely charred on the outside and cooked to your liking.
Serve with rice, kimchi, salad leaves, and dips.
2. Oven-Grilled Galbi Ribs
Marinate as above.
Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C).
Place ribs on a wire rack over a tray and cook for 15–20 minutes, turning once.
Finish under a hot grill for a sticky, caramelised finish.
3. Stir-Fry / Rice Bowl Style (1CM Cut)
Use the 1CM Korean Style Cut.
Marinate briefly (30–60 minutes).
Stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Serve over rice with vegetables, gochujang mayo, or sesame dressing.
