Slow-Roasted Beef Silverside (serves approx. 3 per 500g)

Ingredients:

• Fresh Halal British Beef Silverside (Boneless)
• Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 2 onions (sliced)
• 2 carrots (sliced)
• 2 garlic cloves (minced)
• Beef stock or water
• Fresh thyme and rosemary (optional)
• Cooking oil

Preparation:

1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 180°C (Fan 160°C) or Gas Mark 4.
2. Season the Silverside: Generously season the beef silverside with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3. Brown the Beef: Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sear the silverside on all sides for 4-5 minutes to create a flavorful crust.
4. Prepare the Vegetables: Add onions, carrots, and garlic to the pan, sautéing for a few minutes until softened.
