Made with 68% mechanically separated chicken, these tender meat balls are seasoned with a balanced blend of spices, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and herbs to deliver a comforting, savoury flavour that works perfectly with pasta, rice dishes, wraps, curries or as a side with chips and salad.
The recipe includes wheat flour as a binder and flavour enhancer, plus herbs and spices that contain mustard and celery, so this product is not suitable for anyone with wheat, mustard or celery allergies. The texture is soft and tender, making these meat balls ideal for both adults and children, whether you’re preparing a quick weeknight dinner or a simple party platter.
These chicken meat balls are produced to halal standards, making them suitable for customers who follow a halal diet and prefer poultry-based products. They fit easily into a variety of cuisines, from Italian-style tomato pasta dishes and Middle Eastern-inspired rice bowls to British-style tray bakes and family comfort food.
Cooking (from chilled):
For best results, cook in a preheated oven at 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Allow approximately 45 minutes per kilo plus an additional 20–30 minutes. Remove all packaging and place the meat balls in a roasting tin, loosely covered with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven, removing the foil for the final 30 minutes of cooking time. Always ensure the meat balls are piping hot throughout and that the juices run clear when the deepest part is pierced with a skewer. If the juices are still pink, continue cooking and retest. Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Storage:
Keep refrigerated between -2°C and +4°C and use immediately once opened. Do not exceed the use-by date. For longer storage, freeze on the day of purchase and use within one month. If the product has thawed, do not refreeze.
