Ingredients:
1kg chicken legs, no skin (4 legs)
2 cups greek yogurt
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon yellow food colouring
1 teaspoon red food colouring
1 lemon juiced
Instructions:
- Enhance the flavor by scoring the de-skinned chicken legs with shallow cuts. Place them in a large bowl or zipper bag.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients thoroughly, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours, preferably 24 hours, for maximum flavor infusion.
- Before cooking, remove most of the marinade from the chicken.
- Grill the chicken on a medium-high heat oiled grill until thoroughly cooked, approximately 10-12 minutes.
- For a different option, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cook the chicken on a sheet pan for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve piping hot alongside fresh onion and butter naan.
