This fresh British Angus beef mince is 100% beef with no fillers, graded 10% Fat for burgers, koftas and everyday cooking. Certified Halal and produced in the UK, it's packed from 500g up to 4kg for one meal or a freezer stock-up.

What's in the mince?

The ingredients list is 100% Fresh Beef only — no fillers. Graded 10% Fat, it holds together well for patties, koftas or keema.

Why 10% Fat?

Mince comes in several fat grades; this pack is graded 10% Fat, made from 100% Fresh Beef with nothing blended in, from 500g up to 4kg.

Cooking this mince

Brown it hard for 8-10 minutes, then add onions, garlic and spices for a mince-style nihari, simmered low for an hour. Butcher's tip: break it up as it browns.

Storage and defrosting

Keep it refrigerated and use promptly, or freeze on the day it arrives. Allow around 24 hours to defrost in the fridge.

Order by pack size: the 500g pack suits a smaller household meal, while the 1kg pack covers a typical family portion of mince.

For batch cooking or freezing extra, the 2kg and 4kg packs scale up without changing the 10% Fat grade.

Keep this mince refrigerated and use it promptly once opened.

To freeze, do so on the day it arrives; when you're ready to use it, defrost fully in the fridge, allowing around 24 hours before cooking.

Typical values per 100 g raw: 137 kcal, 21.41 g protein, 5.00 g fat. Basis: 95% lean / 5% fat beef mince. Reference: USDA FoodData Central, "Beef, ground, 95% lean meat / 5% fat, raw" (FDC 171790).

This mince works well in a mince-style nihari, simmered slowly with warming spices for a rich, home-style curry.

It also suits South Asian keema dishes — keema matar, keema paratha filling or a spiced samosa filling — as well as Middle Eastern-style koftas and everyday British burgers and meatballs.

Keema: brown the mince, add onions, tomatoes and warming spices, then simmer until thick.

Koftas: mix with garlic, chilli and coriander, shape, then grill or pan-fry until browned through.

Burgers: season simply and press into patties — the 10% Fat grade keeps them moist on the grill.

Is this mince suitable for keema?

Yes — it's 100% Fresh Beef with no fillers, so it browns and takes on spice well for a keema base.

Can I use it for seekh kebabs?

Yes, the 10% Fat grade gives enough moisture to bind seekh mixtures without needing extra fat added.

Does it work as a samosa filling?

It does — cook it down with onions and spices first, then cool before filling, the same way you'd prepare a keema-style filling.

Do I need to add fat for these recipes?

No — at 10% Fat with nothing added but 100% Fresh Beef, it already carries enough fat for keema, seekh or samosa fillings.
