100% Non-Stunned Halal UK Grass-Fed Pastures Chilled 48h Woolcool Delivery

Marinated lamb is the shortcut to a grill night: the chops are already seasoned, so they go straight from the box to the heat. This page holds four British lamb cuts marinated in house, front chops, back chops, boneless shoulder and boneless leg, each in your choice of Steak & Chop, Peri-Peri, Tandoori, Tikka or Steak Dry Rub. Every cut is Certified Halal and is cut and marinated by our butchers on the day of dispatch, in 500g to 4kg packs.

Plain lamb chops are on the chops page, marinated chicken on the marinated chicken page, and the full lamb range under halal lamb.

Halal Marinated Lamb - British Chops, Leg & Shoulder Buying Guide & Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our certified Halal butcher cuts, chilled packaging, and delivery.

What marinades can I choose for lamb?

Five, on every cut on this page: Steak & Chop, our house blend; Peri-Peri; Tandoori; Tikka; and a Steak Dry Rub. You pick the marinade as the cutting style on the product page, so the marinated front chops and back chops can go in the same order with different flavours. The boneless shoulder and boneless leg take the same five.

How do you cook marinated lamb chops?

On a hot grill or griddle, three to four minutes a side for a thin chop and five to six for a thick one, then a short rest. Marinades with sugar or yoghurt in them catch quickly, so keep the chops moving and finish them away from the fiercest heat. In the oven, 200C for 15 to 18 minutes does the job. Boneless marinated leg or shoulder can be cubed and threaded on skewers, or roasted whole at 180C for about 25 minutes per 500g.

Is marinated lamb already cut?

Yes. The chops arrive as individual chops and the boneless cuts as pieces ready for the pan or skewer, all marinated on the day the order is prepared rather than sitting in the marinade for days. Weights run from 500g to 4kg on the chops and 500g or 1kg on the boneless cuts. If you would rather marinate your own, the plain lamb bone-in cuts and boneless cuts offer the same cuts unseasoned.

How long does marinated lamb keep?

Up to 6 days in the fridge in its vacuum seal, or up to 12 months in the freezer if you freeze it on the day it arrives. Orders travel with DPD, which delivers Tuesday to Saturday, in a Woolcool insulated box with ice gel packs that hold 0-4C for up to 72 hours: dispatched the next working day, delivered the day after. Delivery is 6.99 under 75 pounds and free from 75 pounds.
