Nisa’s 40 Meat Samosas – Party Pack, Ready-to-Fry are a classic South Asian-style snack, perfect to keep in the freezer for guests, family gatherings, iftars or quick teatime treats. Each samosa is filled with a savoury minced meat mixture – made with beef or lamb depending on the pack – cooked together with onions, green chilli, garlic, ginger and a traditional spice blend, then wrapped in a thin, flaky wheat pastry. The result is a crisp, golden exterior with a soft, warming, meat filling that delivers that familiar “desi samosa” taste you expect at family events and snack tables.
These frozen meat samosas are designed for convenience, going straight from freezer to fryer or oven. They’re ideal as part of a party platter, as starters before a curry, alongside rice dishes like biryani and pulao, or simply as a quick snack with a cup of tea. The typical ingredient mix includes minced meat (beef or lamb – always check the pack label), onions, green chilli, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, garam masala, black pepper, salt, wheat flour pastry and vegetable oil. Because of the wheat flour in the pastry, they are not suitable for anyone with wheat or gluten allergies, and customers should always refer to the on-pack ingredient and allergen list before consuming.
For best results from frozen, the samosas can be deep fried in hot oil at around 180°C for roughly 5–6 minutes until the pastry turns golden brown and crispy and the filling is piping hot. As a lighter option, they can also be oven baked: place the frozen samosas on a lined baking tray in a preheated oven at around 200°C (fan 180°C) and bake for approximately 15–20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the pastry is crisp and the centre is hot.
These samosas should be stored in the freezer at -18°C or below. Once defrosted, they should not be refrozen; instead, keep them refrigerated and cook within 24 hours.
Serve hot with mint yoghurt, tamarind sauce, chilli sauce or mango chutney, or add them to a larger snack spread with other fried items and dips. With their crisp pastry, soft savoury meat filling and warming spice profile, Nisa’s 40 Meat Samosas are an easy, crowd-pleasing frozen snack option for both everyday use and special occasions.
