These samosas are filled with a hearty 70% minced mutton, accompanied by potatoes, reconstituted textured vegetable protein from soya, onions, and peas. The pastry, a blend of wheat flour, water, salt, and palm oil, encases this flavorful filling, adding a delightful crunch to every bite.
The filling is seasoned with a blend of mixed spices, salt, crushed green chilli, herbs, ginger, and garlic. The addition of citric acid enhances the overall flavor profile, giving the samosas a tangy twist.
Please be aware that these samosas contain cereals containing gluten, soya, and wheat.
For cooking, deep fry the samosas from frozen in preheated oil at 180°C/350°F for 8-10 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown. Drain well before serving. Always ensure that the food is cooked thoroughly and is piping hot throughout before serving. Exercise caution as the fillings can be extremely hot after cooking and spitting may occur during the frying process.
For storage, keep the samosas refrigerated between -2°C and +4°C. Once opened, use immediately and do not exceed the use by date. For longer storage, freeze on the day of purchase and use within 1 month. If the food has thawed, do not refreeze.
