Tahira Halal 15 Chicken Burgers offer a quick and reliable option for busy households that want easy meals without compromising on halal standards. Made with 68% chicken, including mechanically deboned meat and collagen, these formed chicken burgers are lightly seasoned with a blend of spices and garlic to deliver a savoury, comforting flavour that works perfectly in buns, wraps, salad bowls, or served with chips and sides.
The recipe includes breadcrumbs, wheat starch, and soya-protein hydrolysate to create a juicy, satisfying texture that holds together well during cooking. As a result, these burgers are ideal for family dinners, kids’ meals, lunchboxes, or casual weekend treats.
This product is suitable for customers following a halal diet, as it is produced in line with halal requirements. It does, however, contain allergens such as wheat and soya, so it is not suitable for anyone with allergies or intolerances to these ingredients.
Cooking (from chilled):
For best results, cook the chicken burgers in a preheated oven at 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Allow approximately 45 minutes per kilo plus an additional 20–30 minutes. Remove all packaging, place the burgers in a roasting tin, and loosely cover with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven, removing the foil for the final 30 minutes of cooking time. Always ensure the burgers are piping hot throughout and that the juices run clear when pierced with a skewer. If any juices appear pink, continue cooking and retest. This product is not suitable for microwave cooking.
Storage:
Keep refrigerated between -2°C and +4°C and use immediately once opened. Do not exceed the use-by date. If you wish to store for longer, freeze on the day of purchase and use within one month. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
