Ingredients

Coriander, Cumin, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Turmeric, Garam Masala, Ginger Powder, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Bay Leaves, and Natural Spices.

How to Prepare (Quick Guide)

1) Prep the Chicken & Chickpeas

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces (or use bone-in for extra flavour).

  • Soak chickpeas overnight, or use canned chickpeas (drain and rinse).

2) Cook the Base

  • Heat oil in a large pot.

  • Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until soft and golden.

3) Brown the Chicken

  • Add chicken and cook until lightly browned on all sides.

4) Add the Spice Mix

  • Stir in Shan Murgh Cholay Spice Mix.

  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook a few minutes until well combined.

5) Add Chickpeas & Simmer

  • Add chickpeas plus water or chicken stock.

  • Bring to a boil, then simmer 20–30 minutes until chicken is tender and curry thickens.

  • Adjust thickness with more water if needed.

6) Serve

  • Garnish with fresh coriander (cilantro).
